Convergence is a software oriented, personal blog. This is my attempt to write about the different technologies and products I work with.

I often find that a product is well documented but there are aspects of it that are hard to understand, or use and there is nothing available to help. I hope to remedy this as far as I can. This blog will provide short (and long)articles on specific topics, mostly in a How-To format. These topics will be about software I have personally used, either at work on on my own free time. Both Open Source as well as commercial software.

My name is Gautam Satpathy and I live in Hyderabad, India. I work for Oracle India Private Limited as the Program Manager for the Oracle E-Business Suite's Application Technology Group (ATG) and also as a senior manager within ATG's QA group. In my role as a QA Manager I work with the new Integrated SOA Gateway (first available in the newly released EBS R12.1.1), Workflow, EBS Adapter, AOL/J, Business Events etc.
